{"id":1401,"date":"2026-02-20T15:45:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T22:45:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tamaracmv.com\/community\/?page_id=1401"},"modified":"2026-02-20T15:54:51","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T22:54:51","slug":"february-2026-board-minutes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/tamaracmv.com\/community\/february-2026-board-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"February 2026 Board Minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tamarac HOA Board Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>February 10, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MINUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Attendees<\/u><\/strong><strong>:&nbsp; Ursula Strephans, President; Jean Long, Vice President; Judith Gardner, Secretary\u2019 Sue Rounds, Treasurer;&nbsp; Randy Vinson, Administrator;&nbsp; Mary Bartlett, Stu Smith, Members-at-Large.&nbsp; Guests:&nbsp; Jan Anfinson, Jody Rhodes (TAC), Christine Walsh, Carole Contrell.&nbsp; January minutes were approved.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>New Business<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Neighborhood Directory:<\/strong>&nbsp; Judith reported the updated neighborhood directory is at the printer and will be delivered to those included in it over the next 7-10 days. The cost is $68 plus tax.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>House Painting Update<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mary reported that he 2026 house painting will conclude this week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pool House Update: <\/strong>&nbsp;Mary reported the roofing of the pool house is in process. The bid for painting the pool house, gates &nbsp;and the pillars around the pool was approved by email vote by the Board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CC&amp;R Revisions:<\/strong>&nbsp; Mary provided a proposal for changes to the CC&amp;R\u2019s regarding parking.&nbsp; Stu moved and Sue 2<sup>nd<\/sup> to accept the changes as proposed.&nbsp; These&nbsp; proposedchanges will be sent with a letter to all homeowners for approval with a reply envelope.&nbsp; The proposed changes reflect the change in size of vehicles since the CC&amp;Rs were first written in the 80\u2019s.&nbsp; Approval by 51% of homeowners (62 homes) is needed to implement the changes. Stu suggested we review all CC&amp;R\u2019s, especially those relating to landscaping and architecture,&nbsp; to determine if any other changes are needed.&nbsp; The process to change CC&amp;Rs is a timely and costly process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parking:<\/strong>&nbsp; Mary reported that the homeowners\/residents\u2019 vehicle registration update is still not compete \u2013 she will follow up with those not responding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Architectural Committee Update:<\/strong>\u00a0 Jody Rhodes provided a written report. <br>TAC guidelines and forms are being\u00a0 amended to clarify permanent lighting\u00a0 requirements.\u00a0 Several guests requested clarification on this topic. \u00a0Stu moved\/Jean 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and the Board agreed that permanent lighting must be attached to the soffit or fascia, and wires are not to be visible.
