{"id":1447,"date":"2026-06-18T14:04:50","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T21:04:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tamaracmv.com\/community\/?page_id=1447"},"modified":"2026-06-18T14:04:50","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T21:04:50","slug":"may-2026-board-minutes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/tamaracmv.com\/community\/may-2026-board-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"May 2026 Board Minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tamarac HOA Board Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>May 13, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MINUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Attendees<\/u><\/strong><strong>:&nbsp; Ursula Strephans, President; Jean Long, Vice President; Sue Rounds, Treasurer; Judith Gardner, Secretary: Mary Bartlett, Stu Smith, Kathy Strasser, Randy Vinson, Administrator.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>April Minutes were approved.&nbsp; Jean Introduced our guest, Cody Reinke, President of Rain Tree, LLC, our landscaping company.&nbsp; His company has been providing landscaping services to Tamarac for the past 5 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Old Business<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our discussion focused on a few areas of concern that have been brought up by homeowners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;(1) the red dots on the driveways and the red ribbons on bushes mean that the homeowner does not want the landscaping company to trim their plants\/bushes.&nbsp; This is not always adhered to.&nbsp; After some discussion it was decided to provide homeowners with larger red vinyl ribbons they can use on bushes\/plants so they will be more noticeable.&nbsp; Also, Cody will communicate to his foreman that this issue needs to be addressed with his crew..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;(2) landscapers breaking off sprinkler heads around ground plants;&nbsp; Cody said this is bound to happen from time to time and he is more than willing to replace them.&nbsp; Stu said that it isn\u2019t usually noticeable right away and Jeremy can easily replace them as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;(3) Replacing front yard granite\/gravel where needed.&nbsp; The Architectural Committee has identified around 70 homes where granite needs to be added to cover bare spots; Mary moved\/Jean seconded \u2013 all approved to go ahead with Rain Tree\u2019s bid to replace gravel at designated homes.&nbsp; Kathy will notify the homeowners affected in advance.&nbsp; Granite will be \u00be\u201d Madison Gold as required in our guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;(4) We also discussed replacement of borders between real grass and gravel in yards.&nbsp; Some yards have metal dividers which are failing and present a safety hazard.&nbsp; The TAC is working on identifying which homes need replacement.&nbsp; Cody highly recommended using extruded concrete to use for dividers.&nbsp; &nbsp;Stu will acquire bids for this work and further discussion will take place at the next board meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The pool house and gate painting will take place the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> weekend in May.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family Bar-b-q:\u00a0 The board members feel the picnic was a success with about 45 attendees.\u00a0 It was better attended and less costly than the holiday party, which it replaced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>New Business<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mary will be adding \u201cdumpsters\u201d and \u201cstorage pods\u201d to our parking guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sue reported that the noticeboard post on 4<sup>th<\/sup> Dr. needs painting.&nbsp; Will address when weather is cooler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Submitted by:&nbsp; Judy Gardner, Secretary<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tamarac HOA Board Meeting May 13, 2026 MINUTES Attendees:&nbsp; Ursula Strephans, President; Jean Long, Vice President; Sue Rounds, Treasurer; Judith Gardner, Secretary: Mary Bartlett, Stu Smith, Kathy Strasser, Randy Vinson, Administrator.
