Treasurer &amp; Administrator, Diane Welch, Board Member<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Call to Order:<\/strong> Mary Bartlett called\nthe meeting to order at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Minutes:<\/strong> Diane Welch read the\nminutes from last meeting, May 8, 2019. Minutes were approved with minor\ncorrections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Old Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>C<\/strong><strong>ypress Tree Trimming<\/strong>: 7 trees were toped\nand a dead oleander removed<\/li><li><strong>Update on Tenant\nParking Registrations<\/strong>:\nAll are up to date<\/li><li><strong>Tree trimming of Lot 95<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Length of time for\nHOA to replace missing or dead plants\/trees:<\/strong> There was a lengthy discussion on HOA\nresponsibility vs Homeowners responsibility.&nbsp;\nMaintaining community standard is important, but homeowners need to take\nresponsibility to ask for replacement by HOA in timely fashion. It was determined\ntwo yrs seems reasonable (length of any given board member\u2019s term). To be added\nto Tree\/Shrub replacement form.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Street\n     Update: <\/strong>Stu\n     talked with representatives from Rose Paving (Ted Wilson, previously of\n     Pinnacle Paving) and from Pinnacle Paving, who did last street paving.\n     Both advise streets need resealing and are giving Stu estimates. Resealing\n     is budgeted for 2020.<\/li><li><strong>Tree\n     Update \u2013 <\/strong>All trees in good condition<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Legislature Changes concerning\n     HOAs:<\/strong>\n     AZ Legislature now requires written monthly statement of account to each\n     homeowner beginning January 1, 2020. Randy is working on how to distribute electronically as well as by\n     mail for homeowners without email. Vinson &amp; Seay will charge\n     HOA an additional $225 per month plus $125 for handling phone calls, bringing\n     total to pd to Administrator of $1,000 monthly beginning January 1, 2020.&nbsp; A motion for this increase was made by\n     Stu Smith, seconded and passed.<\/li><li><strong>Sidewalk\n     Markings Update:<\/strong>\n     Bill Durham apologizes for forgetting about this issue. Will get back to\n     it.<\/li><li><strong>How\n     to handle violations of Architectural Guidelines without an Architectural\n     Committee:<\/strong>\n     Because we are without a formal Committee, all HOA board members are\n     encouraged to familiarize themselves with CC&amp;R Architectural Guidelines\n     &amp; survey neighborhood regularly. Typical violations involve garbage\n     cans, weeds, window frames, gates. Pauly asking Mark Mosher to serve as Architectural\n     Committee member. HOA representative will send homeowners notices of\n     violations.<\/li><li><strong>Update\n     on Landscape Issues \u2013 <\/strong>continue to work on issue.<\/li><li><strong>Weeds\n     in drainage area:<\/strong> Mary will ask landscaper to spray.<\/li><li><strong>Update on Pool<\/strong>-new pool\n     furniture has been added.<\/li><li><strong>Financial\n     Report:<\/strong>\n     Randy presented financial report<\/li><li><strong>School\n     Pickup Parking:<\/strong>\n     Discussion of need for security guard to move along parked car drivers and\n     loitering students awaiting friends or pickup.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Adjournment<\/strong>: Diane moved, Pauly\nseconded. Meeting adjourned at 9 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Next meeting:<\/strong> Tuesday, July 9,\n2019, at Stu\u2019s house.
