Treasurer; Jeremy McLaughlin, Director<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Call to Order: <\/strong>Jean Long called the meeting to order at 7:03\npm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minutes: <\/strong>A motion was made by Stu Smith to accept the Minutes of the April Board Meeting and seconded by Diane Welch. The Board approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Update street repair:<\/strong>&nbsp; Pinnacle\nPaving repaired damage on 6<sup>th<\/sup> Drive and Marconi caused by sprinklers\nand Kathleen and 4<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue. Stu talked to City Councilwomen Deborah\nStark about garbage truck damage to streets. Trucks never exceed 13 mph.<\/li><li><strong>Annual Meeting:<\/strong>&nbsp; Annual\nmeeting is rescheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2020 at St. Paul\u2019s\nCatholic Church. No potluck. Pauly will check about having coffee. Jean and\nJeremy will be up for election at that time and Jean will send out an email to\nsee if any other homeowners wish to run. Jean will make ballots. Randy will\ntabulate votes.<\/li><li><strong>Common area wall repair <\/strong>was competed quickly and with excellence by\nMario Gonzalez. Diane will add him to the TaMV Resource List.<\/li><li><strong>Pool update:<\/strong>&nbsp; Community pool is ready\nfor use. Has been inspected by Maricopa County.<\/li><li><strong>Update on closing cost charged by the HOA and\nthe three houses involved (Lots 66,68, &amp; 105):<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing cost for these three homes have been\nadjusted to everyone\u2019s satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>ADA and Parking regulations\nre two cars in garage:<\/strong> Randy has the form for residents to complete to allow for a\nhousehold with a car displaying handicapped tags to park one vehicle on the\noutside.<\/li><li><strong>&nbsp;Delinquent accounts: <\/strong>We have two homes that are\nsignificantly in arrears with their association fees. At this point the Board\nwill request that they bring their accounts up to date or we will have to take\nfurther actions.<\/li><li><strong>Signs regarding park\nparking:<\/strong> Tamarac\nresident Barb Dickerson requested more \u201cNo Parking\u201d signs be placed along\nTierra Buena. She is willing to put a double-sided sign on a pole in her front\nside yard. Stu moved to secure more signage similar to the sign at 6<sup>th<\/sup>\nDr. and Tierra Buena to post at regular intervals along sidewalk on the park\nside of the street. Pauly seconded. Motion passed. Jean will talk to Bill\nGoshert and Bill Durham about installation.<\/li><li><strong>No trespassing item from\nBill Goshert:<\/strong> Jean will meet with Bill to get a further understanding of this\nprogram being done by the Phoenix Police. Diane and Jean will meet with the\npolice and ask for a police officer to come to our Annual Meeting to explain\nthis to our community.<\/li><li><strong>Light at entrance to community\u2014Is\nit brighter:<\/strong> Jeremy is working on this.<\/li><li><strong>Opening the pool: <\/strong>Jean will have signs made\naccording to wording suggested by Mulcahy Law Firm. The Board decided to leave\nlounge chairs stored at this time. Signs will be posted on both gates, on pool\nbulletin board, on restroom doors, and on tables in pool area. Once this is\ndone we will be opening the pool. The main point is pool users are aware of the\nrisk of COVID-19, and they are responsible for their own safety.<\/li><li><strong>Replacing umbrellas for the\npool:&nbsp; <\/strong>Mary Bartlett and Bill Goshert replaced\numbrellas for the pool.<\/li><li><strong>It was approved to have Arroyo\nVerde<\/strong> begin replenishing granite\nin the neighborhood under Mary\u2019s supervision. $5,500 has been set aside for\nthis expense.<\/li><li><strong>Diane needs contact\ninformation for insurance:<\/strong> Up to date but needs sign company name.<\/li><li><strong>Diane requests information\nabout NextDoor:<\/strong> Bill Goshert has named Diane as a lead administrator for\nNextDoor.
