Treasurer\/Administrator; Kathy Strasser.&nbsp; Guests:&nbsp; Claudine Rosetti and Mike Sieckmeyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Call to Order:&nbsp; <\/strong>7:03 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minutes of the April Board meeting were reviewed.&nbsp; Stu moved to accept the minutes, Diane seconded and all approved.&nbsp; The current slate of officers was &nbsp;voted on and unanimously approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Old Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>&nbsp;Tree Update:&nbsp; <\/strong>Stu reported that the last 2 trees that were scheduled to be removed were completed at a cost of $1725, which was pre-approved.<\/li><li><strong>Sprinklers \u2013 <\/strong>YTD&nbsp; 3 lots have &gt;$500 in repairs; 2 lots &gt;$300; 3 lots &gt;$200 and 7 timer boxes were replaced.<\/li><li><strong>Parking regulation update: <\/strong>(violations on 15822 N. 6<sup>th<\/sup> Dr. was moved to Executive Session.)&nbsp; Jean reported that we need a new parking monitor to take over the job from Bill Goshert who can no longer act in this role due to health issues.&nbsp;&nbsp; The board thanks Bill for 10 years of monitoring parking in Tamarac and wishes him a speedy recovery.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jean will send a notice to HOA members asking for a volunteer(s) &nbsp;to take over the parking monitoring role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Stop sign on Kathleen and 6<sup>th<\/sup> Drive:&nbsp; <\/strong>Jean is continuing to work on getting a bid to raise the sign and the street sign.<\/li><li><strong>Architectural Committee Report:<\/strong>&nbsp; Diane asked the board to review the new TAC regulation regarding \u201cShade and Pergolas\u201d.&nbsp; The board unanimously approved the new regulation, and it will be added to the Architectural Guidelines.&nbsp; The TAC is now working on an update concerning gates \u2013 quite a few need to be replaced or repaired in the community.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Wash area:&nbsp; <\/strong>The question of Tamarac\u2019s responsibility for clearing and maintaining the small piece of property across Tierra Buena in the Moon Valley Park\/wash area which is owned by the HOA is an ongoing issue.&nbsp; Stu and Diane met with our council rep\u2019s assistant &nbsp;and subsequently sent a letter to our Council Representative, Debra Stark, requesting clarification on the HOA\u2019s responsibility for this area.&nbsp; Kathy moved, and Stu seconded, a motion to table the discussion until we have an answer to Stu\u2019s letter requesting clarification.&nbsp; If costs are involved, they will be included in future budgets.<\/li><li><strong>Roofing Tiles:&nbsp; <\/strong>Claudine Rosetti brought a sample roof tile to the meeting to have it approved by the board before installation.&nbsp; It was approved.<\/li><li><strong>Wasp in pool area:&nbsp; <\/strong>Wasps in the pool area were reported by a member.&nbsp; It is being taken care of.<\/li><li><strong>Feedback on Pool Party:&nbsp; <\/strong>It was recommended that the pool \u201chappy hours\u201d start at 6:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m.&nbsp; Accepted.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Randy presented the Finance Report which was reviewed by all members.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adjourned to Executive Session at 8:10 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Submitted by:&nbsp; Judith Gardner, Secretary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May 12, 2022<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tamarac at Moon Valley HOA Board Meeting May 11, 2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 7:00 PM tamaracmoonvalley@gmail.com MINUTES Attending: Jean Long, President; Diane Welch, Vice President; Judy Gardner, Secretary; Stu Smith, Treasurer; Randy Vinson, Asst.
