Attending: Jean Long, President; Pauly Heller, Secretary; Stu Smith, Treasurer; Steve deBorgheyi, Member-at-large; Randy Vinson, Asst. Treasurer; Barb Dickerson, Jody Rhodes, residents; John Vessecchia, guest.
Call to Order: Jean Long called meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
Minutes: Minutes of the October Board Meeting were reviewed by Pauly Heller. Stu moved, Pauly seconded. Minutes approved as printed.
Old Business:
1. Parking Issues:
a. Tierra BuenaBoard reviewed attorney Quinten Cupps’s recommendations re parking issues on Tierra Buena. Stu moved, Steve seconded to resolve to act on Tamarac CC&Rs regarding the No Parking zone on Tierra Buena Lane as follows:
(a) The southern curb on Tierra Buena Lane will be painted red
(b) Signs will be posted at Tamarac’s east and west entrances and at regularly spaced intervals along sidewalk clearly warning drivers that improperly parked cars will be subject to towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
(c) Tamarac owners and residents will be informed that vehicles parked improperly along that curb will be towed. The motion passed.
b. Residents Street Parking: Jean will talk with Bill Goshert about language for signs to be reposted at mailboxes regarding improper resident parking and fines.
2. Motorcycle Parking: According to Section 6.6 in CC&Rs, only passenger cars and trucks (not motorcycles) will be considered authorized vehicles in terms of parking in garages.
3. Painting Issues: The pool house and stucco pillars, and yellow curbs at mailboxes will be painted as soon as Danny Hodges can schedule them. The perimeter fence on 7th Ave. will be painted after landscaping issues are resolved.
4. Updated Paint Colors: Jean will distribute a form to notify homeowners and residents of proper Sherwin Williams exterior and trim paint for each lot.
5. Landscaping Issues: The Architectural Committee will discuss specific landscaping issues, such as shrub or tree replacement, with individual homeowners.
6. Community Clean-up: This Saturday, November 14, 8 a.m.
7. Century Link Towers: Three Century Link towers have been repaired or replaced. Diane is in communication with them regarding the remaining ones.
8. Holiday party and Luminaria: December 5 at 2 p.m. at Kathleen Park. Jean will arrange for holiday-themed food truck. Jean and Pauly will buy door prizes using HOA funds. Jean will send e-blast inviting neighbors to put out luminaria for Christmas Eve.
9. Tree Removal: $2,500 estimate from Broken Limb to be paid from Capital Expense fund. Board agreed to additional removal of dead tree on 7th Ave. behind Lot 10.
New Business:
1. Financial Report: (Randy V)
2. 2021 Budget: Monthly HOA fee will remain at $120. Pauly moved, Stu seconded. Budget passed.
Adjourn: Stu moved, Pauly seconded. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
Next Meeting: January 13, 2021. There will be no board meeting in December.
